This position reports to multiple loan officers who manage large or major loan portfolios. The incumbent receives general supervision due to their experience and proficiency. The role involves frequent customer contact via telephone and email, assisting with routine problems and referring complex issues to other departments or supervisors. Excellent human relations skills are essential when interacting with customers and bank staff. The Lending Assistant II will perform administrative duties for senior loan officers involved in consumer/commercial loans, including typing, filing, answering phones, and greeting customers. They will also prepare loan documentation, ensure conformity to bank lending processes, and handle special projects. Active participation in the Customer Service First sales and service culture, support for organizational values, and adherence to company policies and procedures are required.
