Requirements

  • Must dress professionally daily.
  • Knowledge of the Banks mission and appropriate application.
  • Knowledge of departmental policies, procedures, and organizational relationships.
  • Knowledge of the organization and composition of letters, minutes, reports, charts and spreadsheets.
  • Knowledge of correct English usage and grammar.
  • Knowledge of office practices, processes, and computer software programs.
  • Knowledge of the organization and maintenance of filing systems.
  • Knowledge of scheduling and coordinating travel arrangements.
  • Ability to make decisions where precedents may not be established.
  • Ability to review several diverse reference sources, select and synthesize data for reports and other forms of correspondence.
  • Ability to use diplomacy and discretion, when giving out information and referring and directing callers and visitors.
  • Ability to perform mathematical calculations.
  • Ability to follow, apply, interpret, and explain instructions and/or guidelines.
  • Ability to determine work priorities.

  • Must have knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, shorthand or stenographic transcription system, and proficiency in typing.

Responsibilities

  • Assist the bank’s Chief Lending Officer by providing all required secretarial services, such as drafting and re-writing letters, memos, and reports; researching records, files and reports; establishing and maintaining files, screening telephone calls; typing a wide variety of materials, reports, tables, and correspondences in final form.
  • Maintain executive’s business calendar, reminding them of scheduled meetings and appointments.
  • Maintain regular contact with key executives, board members, management personnel from other organizations and other persons important to the bank to transmit information, obtain data, and so forth.
  • Receive customer complaints.
  • Serve as a back-up for taking, transcribing, and maintaining minutes of committee meetings.
  • Assist in bank functions for employees and external groups.
  • Adhere to the BSA Policy, Compliance Policy and all other Bank Policies.
  • Assist in calibrating Abrigo/LaserPro/ Horizon with other stakeholders
  • Assist in compiling monthly board reports
  • Assist in managing mortgage software upgrades
  • Assist in monitoring global past due financial ticklers
  • Assist in monitoring past due loan covenants
  • Assist in obtaining monthly charge off writeups from loan officers
  • Assist in coordinating duties and role of Loan Processors, coordinating with Loan Operations
  • Other duties and responsibilities as may be assigned by supervisor.
