About The Position

The Leisure Sales Manager promotes and sells to the leisure market in the East Coast and Southeast regions of the United States, and the international LATAM market for the property. Candidates should possess the ability to penetrate organizations' hierarchy and establish travel agency relationships beyond basic contacts. This position requires a high degree of independent judgment, entrepreneurial thought, discretion, strategic decision-making skill, and managing confidential information of the property. The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of leisure sales experience in a luxury setting carrying existing agency relationships. Has the ability to be a Public Ambassador for Four Seasons Hotels. In collaboration with the Commercial Director, and the Director of Sales, the Leisure Sales Manager will play an integral role in the development and execution of an annual integrated plan comprised of strategies that support the Resorts and Private Villas & Residences business objectives. Through strategic thinking and execution, increasing awareness and visibility of the Resort, its offerings, and contributing to increasing revenues.

  • 3+ years of leisure sales experience in a luxury setting carrying existing agency relationships.

  • Bi-lingual in Spanish highly preferred.
  • Bi-lingual in Spanish is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Actively sell and manage key accounts as #1 priority.
  • Monitor and identify current and future business trends to ensure profitable sales in periods of low and high demand.
  • Negotiate and achieve maximum revenue/profit potential for the Resort while satisfying client's needs.
  • Management of sales travel, trade shows, and sales/marketing expenditures.
  • Support, communicate, and highlight Resort customers in-house to promote goodwill and foster additional business, repeat bookings or referrals to other Four Seasons Hotels & Resorts.
  • Represent the Resort with customer interactions, operational questions, challenges, and issues.
  • Business development, active prospecting, sales calls, and management of leisure travel agents, wholesalers, and consortia to increase visibility of the Resort to grow and maintain market segments in accordance with the objectives established in the Marketing Plan.
  • Help manage and mentor the efforts of the Leisure Sales Associate onsite through effective oral and written communication.
  • Meet and entertain clients, some of which will require travel.
  • Enhance the Resort’s and Private Retreat’s image and stay abreast of the competition, new developments and sales methods and techniques in the private residences industry to maximize sales and profitability.
  • Manage and nurture direct relationships with Preferred Partner, AmEx/FHR, Chase, Internova, and Virtuoso travel advisors to ensure reliability and efficiency for future and repeat guests.
  • Organize and conduct sales site tours and travel agent familiarization of site inspections to assist with awareness and in turn, help increase revenue.
  • Curates personalized and meaningful experiences for the Private Villas & Residences, clientele and repeat guests.
  • Continuously monitor, present, and communicate current and forecasted financial/business performance.
