About The Position

The Legislative Representative will work to foster productive relationships between the executive and legislative branches and assist the Mayor’s administration in developing and advancing its agenda through New York State law and the State budget. The role is with the Mayor’s Office of State Legislative Affairs, the principal liaison between the Mayor’s Administration and the New York State Legislature. The position is located in Albany, NY.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• At least 2 years of relevant experience in New York State legislative processes and ecosystem.
• Understanding of and experience with one or more of the following: the State legislative process, public policy analysis, New York City or State agency operations, and lobbying.
