About The Position

I-2-I Solutions performs water quality testing supporting water management programs at VA Medical Centers across North Carolina and Virginia. As an Environmental / Water Sampling Technician, you will collect water samples, perform field parameter readings, and complete required compliance documentation. Because the work is performed inside VA medical facilities, access requires background clearance and badging approval in coordination with facility points of contact prior to performing site work.

Requirements

• Background clearance and badging approval in coordination with facility points of contact prior to performing site work.

Responsibilities

• Collect first-draw potable hot/cold water samples, ice/dispenser samples, cooling tower water samples, and retest samples following CDC and ISO 11731 procedures.
• Measure and record physical and chemical parameters, including temperature, pH, free/residual chlorine, and total chlorine.
• Complete full laboratory chain-of-custody documentation and populate national Water Safety Management Tool Excel spreadsheets.
• Resampling within 5 working days following positive detections.
