About The Position

The Legends Server is responsible for greeting guests, taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring a positive dining experience. This role requires excellent customer service skills, the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and adherence to company policies and procedures. The server will also be responsible for clearing tables, refilling drinks, and maintaining a professional demeanor at all times. Hours are determined by a 24-hour schedule, and the position may be full-time or part-time.

Requirements

Minimum of 18 years of age or older upon employment.
Able to carry and balance a service tray.
Legible handwriting.
Basic knowledge of menu prices and composition of food and beverage menu items, daily specials, and proper placing procedures.
Team player.
Must present a well-groomed and professional appearance.
Must possess excellent communication skills.
Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
Must be able to respond to visual and oral cues.
Ability to write routine correspondence and to speak effectively to the public, employees, and customers.
Ability to deal effectively and interact well with customers and employees.
Ability to resolve problems/conflicts in a diplomatic and tactful manner.
Must be able to be approved for and maintain a valid gaming license.
Applicants must be able to substantiate a safe driving record within the parameters acceptable to our liability insurance carrier.
Employment is contingent upon a favorable outcome of a background investigation and drug screening.

Prior food server experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Greets guests at assigned tables and ensures each guest needs are met.
Returns to each assigned table periodically to ascertain whether additional items are desired.
Clears empty plates as guests have completed each course.
Serves food and beverages to guests where appropriate.
Ushers guests to their tables.
Adheres to regulatory, departmental, and company policies in an ethical manner.
Refills water, coffee, and other drinks upon request of guests.
Provides exceptional customer service to all patrons and communicates in a pleasant, friendly, and professional manner at all times.
Maintains a professional work environment with supervisors and staff.
Meets attendance guidelines and adheres to regulatory, departmental, and company policies.
Attends all necessary training meetings.
Assists in other projects, as directed.
Works nights, weekends, and holidays as required.
