The Legal Workflow Coordinator serves as the primary point of contact for incoming requests to the department for various word processing-related projects such as formatting, proofreading, editing, the styling of documents, printing, and conversion or saving documents to images (PDF). This role involves coordinating, assigning, distributing, prioritizing, tracking, and expediting workload to the department. The coordinator will interface with requesters to gather detailed information to better understand the nature and requirements of assignments, analyze requests to determine how tasks should be performed, and engage appropriate resources for completion. They will direct requests to proper resources and coordinate with local and off-site office services. Additionally, the role assists with proofreading tasks and quality control analysis during heavy volume periods, delivers projects within a reasonable, negotiated timeframe, and performs other related duties and assists with special projects as assigned. Maintaining thorough knowledge of all firm-supported software packages is also required.
