About The Position

The Coordinator in the WSU Division of the State Attorney General’s Office (WSU AGO) reports directly to the Division Chief and the Assistant Director and serves as confidential legal support specialist to assistant attorneys general (AAGs) and coordinates litigation processes. The individual in this position must exercise discretion and good judgment when dealing with the public and execution of specialized activities. This position requires an understanding of legal terminology and court rules, and excellent organizational and editing skills. Flexibility is imperative; job duties could change based on office needs.

Requirements

  • A Bachelor’s degree in a field relevant to area of specialization and three (3) years of experience directly related to the specialty area.
  • Any combination of relevant education and experience may be substituted for the educational requirement on a year-for-year basis.

Nice To Haves

  • Five years of legal assistant/support experience in a law or governmental office OR equivalent education.
