About the Internship The Johnson Outdoors Summer Internship Program is a paid, hands‑on experience designed for college students and recent grads who want to apply what they learn in the classroom to real‑world business challenges. 📍 Location: Racine, WI (Lake Michigan views included) 🕒 Schedule: ~24 hours/week (Tues/Wed/Thurs) 📅 Timing: May or June 2026 through August 2026 💼 Status: Temporary internship (not benefits‑eligible) You won’t be a “shadow intern.” Our interns are treated like true team members — contributing to real projects, learning from professionals, and gaining exposure to how a global outdoor company operates.

Requirements

  • Current college student or recent graduate (preferred majors: Legal Studies or Business Administration)
  • Strong written communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to juggle multiple tasks while paying attention to details
  • Comfortable using Microsoft Office
  • Respect for confidentiality and professionalism
  • Authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship

Responsibilities

  • Help organize, maintain, and file legal documentation related to contracts, patents, trademarks, and corporate entities
  • Review and analyze documentation to improve record retention, filing, and accessibility
  • Assist with legal research and documentation review that informs future business decisions
  • Support day‑to‑day legal operations during the summer, helping the team stay organized and efficient
