Legal Operations Summer Internship
About The Position
Agile Legal is a legal operations and compliance company supporting businesses with entity management, regulatory filings, and corporate governance solutions. Position Overview We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Summer Intern to support our legal operations team. This internship provides hands-on exposure to corporate compliance, entity management, and day-to-day legal administrative functions, contracts, funds compliance and litigation services. Interns will gain practical experience working alongside legal project administrators and receive mentorship from them as well as our Associate General Counsel.
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in a relevant degree program
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Interest in legal operations, corporate law, or compliance
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
- Strong communication and willingness to learn
- Proactive mindset with the ability to suggest improvements and efficiencies
Responsibilities
- Assist with day-to-day office and administrative functions
- Support corporate filings, including annual reports and related compliance tasks
- Conduct legal and regulatory research
- Assist with entity management, auditing and maintaining corporate records
- Help obtain corporate documents
- Support service of process workflows and related procedures across disciplines
- Organize and maintain records and internal documentation systems
- Provide administrative support to the legal operations team
- Collaborate on projects alongside Legal Project Administrators
- Participate in team meetings for exposure to client work and internal processes
- Learn and utilize internal systems for client and entity information management
