We are seeking an experienced and strategic Legal Recruiter to support the full-cycle recruitment of attorneys and legal support staff across the firm. This role serves as a trusted partner to hiring managers, providing guidance on hiring strategy, market conditions, and candidate selection while ensuring a professional and efficient recruitment process.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required (Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred)
  • Minimum of 5 years of legal recruiting experience, with demonstrated success recruiting attorneys and legal support staff
  • Prior experience recruiting in a law firm environment required
  • Strong interviewing skills with the ability to evaluate complex legal backgrounds and practice areas
  • Excellent communication, relationship-building, and consultative skills
  • Proven ability to manage multiple requisitions and priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • High level of professionalism, discretion, and integrity

Nice To Haves

  • Experience recruiting for a plaintiff personal injury firm is a major plus

Responsibilities

  • Manage full-cycle recruitment for attorneys, paralegals, case managers, legal assistants, and other support staff
  • Partner closely with hiring managers to understand hiring needs, role requirements, and ideal candidate profiles
  • Conduct in-depth interviews to assess legal expertise, practice-area experience, career progression, and cultural fit
  • Review resumes, writing samples, bar status (where applicable), and other credentials to evaluate qualifications
  • Develop and execute effective sourcing strategies using job boards, professional networks, referrals, and social media
  • Guide candidates through the interview process while ensuring timely communication and an exceptional candidate experience
  • Coordinate and schedule interviews, working collaboratively with candidates and internal stakeholders
  • Lead offer development, negotiation, and closing strategies to secure top talent
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with candidates, hiring managers, firm leadership, and external recruiting partners
  • Ensure compliance with all legal, regulatory, and internal hiring requirements
  • Track and manage requisitions through the applicant tracking system (ATS) and maintain accurate recruiting data
  • Stay current on legal hiring trends, market conditions, compensation benchmarks, and competitor practices
  • Represent the firm professionally and strengthen the firm’s employer brand within the legal community
  • Perform other recruiting-related duties as assigned
