About The Position

Blackstone Multi-Asset Investing (BXMA) manages $101 billion across a diversified set of businesses. We strive to generate attractive risk-adjusted returns for our clients across market cycles. Our strategies include Absolute Return, Multi-Strategy, Total Portfolio Management, and Public Real Assets. The successful candidate will work on a variety of legal matters relating to hedge fund, hybrid fund and fund of hedge fund investing and structuring. Primary job responsibilities will include: Structuring, negotiation, and formation of BXMA’s commingled and customized funds and portfolio investments. Substantial interaction with BXMA internal business groups (investment, accounting, operations, investor relations) and external clients. Management of external counsel. Negotiation and review of various legal documentation. Ongoing review of industry and regulatory developments to assess any relevant information or risks to BXMA’s business.

Requirements

• J.D. degree required.
• Minimum of six (6) full years of law firm and/or in-house private investment fund work experience.
• Strong drafting, communication, and organizational skills.
• Demonstrated experience in interpreting legal and business terms.
• Highly motivated, intelligent, enthusiastic, have demonstrated excellence in prior endeavors and are team players.

Responsibilities
