About The Position

This role involves acting as a trusted legal advisor supporting global procurement activities. The Legal Procurement Lead will contribute to business decision-making by providing clear, practical legal advice on commercial agreements and risk management. The position will focus on diverse topics, including external services and technology-related contracts, while also contributing to the improvement of processes and tools that support efficient and compliant sourcing.

Requirements

Degree in law and relevant professional qualification to practise as a legal advisor.
Experience working in an in-house legal environment, supporting procurement or commercial activities.
Strong experience drafting, reviewing, and negotiating complex commercial agreements.
Ability to translate complex legal concepts into clear, practical guidance for non-legal stakeholders.
Strong communication, collaboration, and analytical skills, with attention to detail and a proactive mindset.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a dynamic and international environment.

Responsibilities

Provide practical legal advice to procurement teams on commercial agreements and risk management across a wide range of services.
Draft, review, and negotiate complex contracts related to consulting, technology, data services, and external workforce arrangements.
Support risk assessment and propose mitigation strategies to enable informed and balanced business decisions.
Contribute to the development of templates, guidelines, and tools that improve contracting efficiency and consistency.
Deliver guidance and training to colleagues on legal topics relevant to procurement activities.
Support dispute resolution and contribute to projects that enhance contract management processes and tools.
