About The Position

Clay Labs is seeking a Legal Operations leader to architect and drive the next phase of its legal function. As the company accelerates growth and complexity, this role will transform Legal from a reactive support team into a strategic enabler across the business. The Legal Operations role is foundational—responsible for designing and implementing the systems, processes, and infrastructure that will support Clay’s expanding customer base, product suite, and cross-functional teams. This is a builder’s opportunity: you will create legal workflows, manage intake and prioritization, and ensure seamless collaboration with Sales, Customer Success, Support, and Finance. You will own relationships with external counsel and vendors, manage the legal tech stack (including Ironclad and Docusign), and leverage AI to automate and optimize legal processes. Success in this role requires experience in legal operations or program management, a strong track record of building scalable solutions, and deep familiarity with legal technology and AI-driven workflows. The ideal candidate thrives in fast-paced, high-growth environments and brings sharp analytical skills, operational rigor, and a collaborative mindset.
