About The Position

We are searching for a legal office administrator to join our in-house legal team — someone who can work effectively under pressure and consistently meet deadlines. Our ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to learn quickly; work in a fast-paced environment; work both independently and as part of a team; and, most importantly, adapt to varying work situations. This position has varying duties, so being able to prioritize, manage multiple deadlines, and help out where needed is essential.

Requirements

  • Effective verbal and written communication
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel, and general proficiency in Microsoft Suite
  • Experience creating and maintaining spreadsheets, tracking data, and organizing chart based information
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail
  • Reliable in meeting deadlines and managing time-sensitive tasks
  • Demonstrates reliability and accountability while balancing competing priorities
  • Problem-solver with the ability to prioritize
  • Team player who can also work independently

Responsibilities

  • Drafting correspondence and filing basic legal documents
  • Improving and creating administrative processes for a more efficient workflow
  • Managing the department’s ticketing system
  • Calendar litigation deadlines and monitor case updates
  • Completing administrative duties such as making copies, scheduling meetings, etc
  • Sorting and maintaining the legal department's online file system
  • Maintaining and organizing company files
  • Assisting and supporting tasks where needed
