UnCommon Law is seeking two undergraduate interns to support the Legal Team. This role involves processing and drafting non-client communications, with opportunities to learn about the discretionary parole process, California prisons, and the journey through incarceration and release. Interns will also contribute to special projects like database audits, case work, research, and legal document review. This is a part-time, unpaid position (15-20 hours/week) for the 2026/27 Academic Calendar, offering a $600 stipend per semester. The position is hybrid, requiring a minimum of 8 hours per week at the Oakland, CA office. UnCommon Law encourages candidates directly impacted by incarceration to apply and offers flexibility in scheduling.
