About The Position

This is a Legal Intern position at Simon-Kucher, a global management consulting firm specializing in strategy, marketing, pricing, and sales. The intern will gain hands-on experience in various aspects of in-house counsel work, assisting with commercial contract reviews, corporate governance, litigation and disputes, employment law, and other legal matters. The role will focus on U.S. legal issues but will also provide exposure to global matters. The position is hybrid, offering both in-person and remote work, with collaboration opportunities across the global Legal Team. Requirements

  • Pursuing Juris Doctor degree from accredited law school – 2L or 3L.
  • Interest in understanding life as in house lawyer/legal function.
  • Strong communication, analytical, organizational and interpersonal skills required.
  • Self-starter who is results-oriented and exhibits intellectual curiosity.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, etc); Web proficiency.
  • Unrestricted U.S. work authorization is required.
  • Must be available to work full-time from January 2027 - April 2027.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with commercial contract reviews.
  • Assist with corporate governance.
  • Assist with litigation and disputes.
  • Assist with employment law matters.
  • Assist with other legal matters handled by the Office of General Counsel.
  • Conduct basic research and compile reports on operational and business management topics relevant to the firm.
  • Lead or support on various projects, many of which have exposure to senior leadership.
  • Help streamline and document operational processes to improve efficiency within the firm.
  • Assist with the day-to-day legal support activities, such as reviewing and drafting contracts.
  • Support analysis of contractual and other disputes as well as reviewing regulatory compliance requirements in specific areas.
  • Organize case files and legal documents and perform other administrative tasks.
