About The Position

FirstCash is offering a paid internship ($15/hour) where students will assist the Company’s legal team on a wide range of issues touching different areas of law. Student’s duties will include specific multi-state research projects in various subject areas, statutory and regulatory interpretation, basic contractual agreements, labor and real estate matters, litigation defense, and discovery projects.

Requirements

• Must be a rising 2L or 3L student.
• Students may be required to sign confidentiality and other agreements as a condition of their acceptance of a position as an intern at FirstCash.

Nice To Haves

• Top 33% academic standing preferred but not required.
• Previous litigation experience.
• Knowledge of Contracts, Securities, Employment, Regulatory Rulemaking, and Statutory Interpretation are helpful.
• Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Company’s legal team on a wide range of issues touching different areas of law.
