2027 Summer Legal Internship

About The Position
The ACLU of Georgia is seeking legal interns for Summer 2027. This internship is designed for law students interested in pursuing a career in public interest litigation. Interns will be expected to commit approximately 40 hours per week and will support the ACLU of Georgia’s litigation activities by performing legal research, drafting legal memoranda, and potentially legal briefs and other documents.
Requirements
- Must be in law school
- Strong research skills
- Strong writing skills
- Strong communication skills
- Demonstrated interest in civil liberties and civil rights
- Submit a resume, cover letter, and writing sample
Responsibilities
- Perform legal research
- Draft legal memoranda
- Potentially draft legal briefs and other documents
- Be available to support the ACLU of Georgia’s litigation activities
