About The Position

Axogen is seeking a highly motivated intern to join our legal team for the spring 2027 semester. This internship offers a dynamic, professional, hands-on experience with guidance from knowledgeable mentors. It's an opportunity to support and learn from in-house counsel and legal staff about the inner workings of an in-house legal and compliance department in a regulated life sciences company. Working both in-house and in a life-sciences company is a unique and rare opportunity. This internship is based out of our Tampa, FL office.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program; preferably in law or other related major.
• Ability to work in the office 15 hours per week during normal business hours on Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday.
• Ability to pass a drug screening
• Advanced MS Office Suite skills
• Passionate about learning about the law and leveraging existing knowledge in pre-law, healthcare or patient advocacy.

Responsibilities

• Support with research projects on laws
• Policy review and revision
• Implementation of new contract management systems
