Legal Intern
About The Position
Etched is looking for a legal intern currently enrolled in law school with interest or exposure to private company and public company corporate governance, equity management, and legal operations to join our lean, high-impact legal team. This is a critical role that blends precision, discretion, and ownership in a high-growth semiconductor company working at the edge of compute and AI. You’ll be a legal resource for entity management, equity workflows, legal operations, and transactional support as we scale operations, close financings, and grow globally. You thrive in ambiguity, move fast without sacrificing accuracy, and bring a “first principles” mindset to building legal infrastructure that lasts. You may be a good fit if you have
Requirements
- Progress towards a J.D. and exposure to both corporate law firms and in-house startup environments
- Coursework or interest in private company governance, venture financings, equity administration, California and Delaware corporate laws
- Technical skills with equity platforms (e.g., Carta), virtual data rooms, and contract management tools
- A proactive, collaborative, go-getting team player who values precision, confidentiality, and adaptability in a fast-moving environment
Nice To Haves
- Experience supporting semiconductor or hardware technology companies a plus
- Paralegal certificate or equivalent practical experience is preferred
