The Deloitte U.S. Office of General Counsel 1L Law Student Internship Program is designed to provide real world and career-building experiences for rising second-year law students. The program is open to all eligible students (see Qualifications and Requirements section below). Candidates with a wide range of backgrounds and experiences are encouraged to apply. As an intern within the Deloitte U.S. Office of General Counsel (“OGC”), you will be responsible for performing assigned work within the OGC's various teams, which support Deloitte's businesses. If you are highly motivated, enjoy learning and meeting new people, thrive in a team environment, and are interested in working in an in-house legal department within a large professional services firm, we encourage you to apply. Deloitte's OGC consists of approximately 225 professionals. Deloitte's OGC has three groups that are primarily comprised of attorneys: Disputes, Consultations and Regulatory Affairs (“DCRA”); Corporate Engagements and Transactions; and Labor and Employment (“L&E”), each of which are led by Deputy General Counsels who report to our General Counsel. During the internship program, interns will gain exposure to these different groups. The internship will be based in New York City at Deloitte's offices located at 1221 Avenue of the Americas and will operate in a hybrid workplace model that optimizes a combination of in-person and virtual interactions. We are intentional about when we co-locate with each other and our clients for maximum impact while empowering our people to preserve the flexibility that they desire.
