About The Position

We are currently seeking candidates for our client's Call Center in Metairie. The intake department begins the process of creating a case file by signing potential clients and seamlessly transitioning this through to the pre-litigation department. As the Intake Specialist, you will serve as the first point of contact for the firm’s clients. This position requires strong attention to detail, excellent multitasking skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Compassion and execution are essential to succeed in this role. The schedule for this role is 11AM to 8 PM and includes some weekends!

Requirements

  • 2–3 years of legal intake and/or customer service experience
  • Call center background preferred
  • Ability to type 55+ WPM while speaking with clients

Nice To Haves

  • Bilingual or multilingual skills are a plus

Responsibilities

  • Speak with potential clients via phone to gather initial case information
  • Update the firm’s database accurately and in a timely manner
  • Respond promptly to initial inquiries from prospective clients
  • Build strong rapport and schedule appointments with potential clients
  • Work under the guidance of the intake attorney to determine viability of cases
  • Track potential cases and schedule follow-up calls
  • Upload pertinent documents appropriately
  • Meet performance-based metrics
