About The Position

This role is for a Legal Intake Agent with strong sales skills, responsible for converting potential clients by building trust, asking pertinent questions, and guiding them through the process. The agent will be the first point of contact for clients and their performance will directly contribute to the firm's growth. Key activities include answering inbound calls and web leads promptly, qualifying leads using a script while maintaining a human touch, gathering accurate details, identifying potential issues, setting expectations, explaining the process, securing signed agreements, following up with leads, and documenting all interactions accurately in the case management system. The goal is to meet weekly targets for contact rate and conversion rate.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of Intake and/or sales experience with high-volume phone work (call center, inside sales, medical intake, legal intake, insurance, etc.)
  • A track record of meeting or beating goals (conversion, revenue, appointments, retention—anything measurable)
  • Strong communication skills: warm, confident, professional, and assertive when needed
  • Solid typing skills and attention to detail (ability to talk and document simultaneously)
  • Comfort with technology: case management tools, texting platforms, VOIP, etc.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Bilingual English/Spanish is required

Responsibilities

  • Answer inbound calls and web leads with urgency, empathy, and control
  • Qualify leads using a proven script while keeping the conversation human
  • Ask smart questions, capture accurate details, and spot red flags quickly
  • Set expectations, explain the process, and secure signed agreements
  • Follow up with leads via text, calls, and emails until a decision is reached
  • Smoothly hand off potential cases to the appropriate attorney
  • Document all interactions cleanly in the case management system
  • Meet weekly goals for contact rate and conversion rate
