About The Position

Equivity is seeking a full-time Legal Executive Assistant (LEA) to support attorneys by managing the service of process lifecycle using a specialized service-of-process platform. This role is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, process-driven, and enjoys ensuring that critical legal steps are completed accurately and on time. Applicants from any U.S. state/city are welcome to apply. This is a full-time position, Monday through Friday, 8:30am–5:00pm PT, with a 30-minute lunch break. At Equivity, we do things differently. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • At least 1 year of experience in a legal administrative, legal assistant, or litigation support role.
  • Comfortable working within specialized legal software and following structured workflows.
  • Highly detail-oriented with strong follow-through.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Able to manage repetitive, deadline-driven tasks with consistency and accuracy.
  • Comfortable working independently in a remote environment while remaining responsive.
  • Professional home office setup. PC required (no Macs)

Nice To Haves

  • Direct experience coordinating service-of-process is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate service-of-process using a designated service-of-process software.
  • Initiate service requests, enter required case and party information, and submit documents for service.
  • Monitor service status, follow up on pending or failed attempts, and ensure timely completion.
  • Communicate with process servers through the platform to resolve issues or clarify instructions.
  • Review completed service details for accuracy and completeness.
  • Prepare, file, and maintain affidavits of service in accordance with attorney instructions and court requirements.
  • Track service deadlines and escalate issues when service is delayed or at risk.
  • Maintain organized case records and service documentation within client systems.
  • Communicate with attorneys, paralegals, and internal teams regarding service status and confirmations.
  • Provide limited administrative support related to service of process and case coordination.
