About The Position

International SOS is seeking a commercially minded attorney to join its Americas Legal team and support its Subscription Services business throughout the Americas. This early-career, business-facing role provides practical legal guidance and commercial support across client contracts, vendor agreements, strategic partnerships, compliance reviews, marketing initiatives, and operational projects. The role partners with teams across Legal, Commercial Services, Sales, Finance, Quality, Marketing, and Operations, as well as global legal colleagues, to support business success while managing legal and regulatory risk. The position offers exposure to commercial transactions, contract negotiations, privacy and compliance matters, corporate governance, and business operations. The attorney will advise business leaders and internal stakeholders, contribute to regional and global projects, and help develop practical solutions to business challenges in a collaborative international organization.

Requirements

Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
Active license to practice law in the United States.
1–3 years of experience in a law firm and/or in-house legal department.
Strong contract drafting, review, and negotiation skills.
Demonstrated business and commercial acumen.
Ability to balance legal risk with practical business solutions.
Knowledge of commercial contracting, compliance, and regulatory matters.
Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Ability to build relationships across diverse teams and communicate confidently with stakeholders at all levels.
Initiative, sound judgment, professionalism, adaptability, and effectiveness in a fast-paced, evolving environment.

Responsibilities

Draft, review, and negotiate commercial agreements, including customer contracts, vendor agreements, NDAs, and independent contractor agreements.
Support complex commercial transactions and strategic business initiatives.
Review commercial terms for RFPs, tenders, and client proposals.
Provide guidance on contract escalations and support internal contract management teams.
Advise business leaders and internal stakeholders on contractual, regulatory, privacy, and compliance matters.
Support strategic partnerships and commercial initiatives.
Identify, assess, and help mitigate commercial and legal risks.
Support responses to client compliance questionnaires and risk assessments.
Participate in internal and external audits.
Assist with developing and implementing legal policies, procedures, and controls.
Conduct due diligence and support business integrations when necessary.
Review marketing materials, campaigns, and promotional agreements.
Draft and review client-facing and internal communications.
Support corporate governance and legal record-keeping activities.
Assist with collections matters, enforcement actions, and cease-and-desist correspondence when needed.
Collaborate with global legal colleagues on complex legal and compliance issues.
Deliver training and guidance to internal stakeholders.
Support quality audits and continuous improvement initiatives.
Participate in regional and global business projects.
