About The Position

Anduril's Legal Team seeks a Legal Counsel, Maritime to support its Maritime Division on a transformational shipyard program. This role is located in Washington D.C. . This is a unique hybrid role requiring both government contracts expertise and corporate legal experience. Anduril's Maritime Division has recently been awarded a major multi-billion dollar shipyard contract that requires standing up a new company structure, managing complex government contracting relationships, and coordinating large-scale financing and real estate transactions. Anduril has just secured a landmark shipyard contract. This is a significant and complex program, and we need a lawyer who can operate at the intersection of government contracts law and corporate transactions. In this role, you will provide legal counsel across four critical lines of effort: (1) government contracting; (2) corporate formation and governance; (3) financing and credit documentation; and (4) entity structure. This role demands someone who can move fluidly between negotiating FAR/DFARS flow-downs in the morning and drafting company governance documents in the afternoon. The Legal Counsel, Maritime will be expected to take ownership of significant, material projects with major impact on the Maritime Division and Anduril's future. This is not a pure government contracts role, nor a pure corporate role, it requires the rare combination of both skill sets and the judgment to know when each applies.
