About The Position

The Legal Coordinator will join an in-house team focused on contracts, corporate governance and compliance. Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience as an administrative assistant or coordinator preferred
  • Experience in a law firm or corporate legal setting preferred
  • High degree of computer literacy with proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Adobe Acrobat, Google Docs and contract management software
  • Superior attention to detail, memory and written communication skills
  • Ability to follow instructions and ask clarifying questions where necessary
  • Ability to understand, follow and drive compliance of processes and procedures
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks as they come in
  • Individuals will be required to sit for the majority of the day and will be required to stand as needed.
  • May require walking primarily on a level surface for periodic periods throughout the day.
  • Reaching above shoulder heights, below the waist or lifting as required to file documents or store materials throughout the workday.
  • Proper lifting techniques required.
  • Individuals will be required to travel via airplane, train, taxi, car and/or other means of transportation as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day workflow for the Legal team through our contract management system, ticketing system and email proxy
  • Oversee contract process for statements of work through coordination with legal account management and finance teams
  • Manage and organize corporate records and files
  • Data entry and clean up in supplier and contract management systems
  • Assist Legal team in compliance tasks as needed
  • Perform other research and administrative tasks as needed
  • Deliver superior customer service to all contacts both internal and external
