The Legal Content Manager, Content Intern and Fellow Program, is part of ILAO’s Content Team. Our Legal Content Managers work independently and as a team to keep the legal information on ILAO's website accurate, relevant to our diverse audiences, and easy to use. This Legal Content Manager position includes producing and maintaining legal content within a team-wide content plan, leading our Content Intern and Fellow (CIF) program, which offers paid and sponsored internships for law students and recent graduates, as well as volunteer opportunities coordinated with law schools, staying informed about the legal issues facing lower-income families and communities in Illinois, and contributing to team projects that use technology to improve how people find and use legal information. Illinois Legal Aid Online (ILAO) is committed to attracting and retaining a diverse staff. Working with great people with a wide variety of lived experiences brings us closer to meeting our vision of a society where all people can get justice. Because our services and products - like the law - are for everyone, we believe in including everyone. We strongly and enthusiastically encourage people of color, individuals who identify within and beyond the LGBTQIA+ spectrum, women, and people with disabilities to apply. ILAO is primarily remote, with periodic, in-person meetings. We welcome applications from across Illinois.
