Legal Consultant - Legal Tech Project Manager

NetDocumentsLehi, UT
Hybrid

About The Position

NetDocuments is seeking a Legal Consultant to work with law firms and legal department clients to support their adoption of NetDocuments' platform and AI capabilities — helping attorneys, paralegals, and legal operations professionals understand, embrace, and effectively use the tools that are reshaping how legal work gets done. This role is intentionally designed as a development opportunity. We are looking for people who are early in their legal technology or legal operations career, deeply curious about the intersection of law and AI, and motivated to grow. High-performing Legal Consultants can expect a clear path to Senior LIC within 18 months, and from there, to either the Legal Innovation Partner track or the Forward Deployed Engineering track based on their interests and strengths.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in legal operations, legal technology, legal consulting, or a related field — or a JD with meaningful interest in legal technology and a desire to move into a non-traditional legal career
  • Working knowledge of AI tools and their practical business applications mainly pertaining to legal uses and workflows
  • Basic familiarity with law firm or in-house legal department operations — you understand the environment your clients work in, even if you are still building deep expertise
  • Strong communication skills — written and verbal. You can facilitate a meeting, write a clear follow-up email, and present a training deck without stage fright
  • Organized and detail-oriented — you manage multiple workstreams simultaneously and follow through on commitments reliably
  • Curiosity about legal AI and technology — you are the kind of person who reads about what is happening in legal tech and gets excited about its implications
  • Collaborative and coachable — you take feedback well, ask good questions, and are invested in your own development
