About The Position

Blackstone's Legal Department seeks an attorney for its Litigation & Investigations team. This role will report to the Head of Litigation and Investigations. The attorney would be a part of a highly collaborative, global legal group and work closely with investment and corporate professionals across the firm.

Requirements

• J.D.
• Ideally 8+ years of experience working at a leading U.S. law firm and/or in-house department focused on litigation and investigations
• Must be a team player, willing to roll up sleeves and work with a variety of personalities in a dynamic environment
• Experience to exercise exceptional judgment, communicate succinctly, manage stakeholders, build consensus and independently manage projects essential

Responsibilities

• Manage broad range of litigation, regulatory enforcement and investigations matters from inception through resolution
• Oversee outside counsel, including scoping work and budgeting
• Advise internal clients on strategy and efficient resolution of disputes and regulatory matters
• Manage wide variety of internal and external stakeholders
• Drive continuous improvement of litigation and investigations processes, including knowledge management, reporting and use of technology
