About The Position

Nova Biomedical is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Summer Intern to support its Legal & Compliance Department. This role is designed for a currently enrolled college student interested in gaining exposure to an in-house legal and compliance function within a professional corporate environment. No prior legal experience or coursework is required. The intern will work on-site at their Norwood or Waltham office and assist with a variety of administrative, research, and organizational projects that support legal operations, compliance initiatives, and cross-functional collaboration. Requirements

• Currently enrolled in an undergraduate college or university program
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with professionalism
• Effective written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, Outlook; PowerPoint a plus)
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks concurrently
• Interest in legal, compliance, business operations, or corporate functions is a plus, but not required

Responsibilities

• Provide administrative and project support to the Legal & Compliance team
• Assist with organizing, reviewing, and maintaining legal and compliance documentation
• Support compliance initiatives, including tracking training, policies, and certifications
• Conduct basic research and compile information related to legal, regulatory, or business topics
• Help manage contract, policy, and document filing systems (physical and electronic)
• Assist with data entry, spreadsheet tracking, and preparation of internal reports
• Support team meetings, workshops, and department projects as needed
• Perform other general office and departmental support duties as assigned
