About The Position

Ganoff Law, P.A. is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Legal Assistant to support our team in a fast-paced, volume-driven environment. This is a fully remote, full-time position requiring strong technical skills, the ability to multitask efficiently, and a commitment to accuracy and thorough file review. In this role, you will begin your day by logging into a firm-issued computer and accessing our virtual desktop environment. From there, you will review your assigned queue of tasks, focusing on items due the same day and prioritizing based on upcoming hearing dates. Daily work involves a mix of document preparation, exhibit collection from online portals, data entry and system updates, detailed file review and quality control, and handling escalations as needed. The overall workflow is structured and consistent across the team, with each team member responsible for a similar set of daily responsibilities, allowing for both routine and variety within a high-volume environment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Prior legal experience
  • Excellent typing accuracy and attention to detail
  • Strong multitasking and organizational skills
  • High level of computer proficiency, including ability to navigate multiple systems
  • Comfort using remote collaboration tools such as Google Meet, Slack, and virtual desktop environments
  • Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new technologies
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment

Nice To Haves

  • Typing speed of 70+ WPM
  • Experience in a high-volume legal environment
  • Experience with legal case management software
  • Familiarity with high-volume litigation or collections workflows
  • Experience with document review, auditing, or compliance processes
