We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Legal Assistant to support our legal team with administrative, and clerical. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, excellent organizational abilities, and a solid understanding of legal terminology. This role will assist in the implementation of the new contract management system.

Requirements

  • High school diploma required
  • Familiarity with legal terminology, , and document formatting standards
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel)
  • Proficiency in Google Drives and email
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Discretion in handling confidential information

Nice To Haves

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Paralegal Studies, Legal Studies, or related field preferred
  • 1–3 years of experience as a legal assistant, legal secretary, or in a similar administrative role (experience requirements may be adjusted based on seniority level)

Responsibilities

  • Read, and file legal documents, including correspondence, briefs, pleadings, and contracts
  • Maintain confidentiality of sensitive client and case information
  • Perform general administrative duties
  • Data Entry and organization of legal documents in the contract system
