Requirements

Previous experience working as a legal assistant, with a strong preference for background in insurance defense or litigation.
Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and time-management skills coupled with meticulous attention to detail.
Hands-on experience with legal calendaring systems, case management software, and the Microsoft Office Suite.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a team-oriented, positive, and professional demeanor.
Proven ability to manage competing priorities efficiently within a high-volume practice.

Responsibilities

Maintain complex attorney calendars, including court dates, depositions, hearings, and client meetings with meticulous accuracy.
Proactively track and manage strict litigation deadlines.
Prepare, proofread, and file legal documents directly with courts and relevant agencies.
Act as a key liaison with clients, opposing counsel, expert witnesses, and court personnel to manage schedules and logistics.
Oversee both physical and electronic case files, ensuring complete organization and accessibility.
Assist with billing, time entry, and general administrative duties across the practice group.
