About The Position

We're hiring now for a Legal Assistant/Administrative Assistant in Tucson, AZ. This role provides administrative and clerical support to attorneys and legal staff. Responsibilities include preparing, formatting, proofreading, and revising legal documents, correspondence, reports, and forms. The position involves organizing and maintaining physical and electronic case files and legal records, scheduling meetings and appointments, and communicating professionally with clients, courts, attorneys, vendors, and other involved parties. The role also requires collecting and maintaining supporting documentation, maintaining confidentiality of sensitive information, and accurately entering and updating information in case management or document management systems. Assistance with billing records, expense documentation, time entries, or invoices may also be required.

Requirements

  • Legal Assistant/Administrative Assistant experience preferred
  • GED / High School Diploma
  • Able to pass a pre-employment drug screen
  • Able to pass a background check
  • Able to work in the US
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and proofreading abilities.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word, Outlook, Excel, and related office software.
  • Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion.
  • Strong computer, data-entry, and document-management skills.
  • Professional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively with a team.

Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative and clerical support to attorneys and legal staff.

  • Enter and update information accurately in case management or document management systems.
  • Assist with billing records, expense documentation, time entries, or invoices as needed.
