About The Position

The Legal Analyst, Contracts manages day-to-day revenue and sales contract review requests. Working directly with Sales, Attorney, and other internal business partners, you facilitate contract reviews and support client revenue requests, including reviewing and managing various types of contract documentation. In this role, you own and manage your own workload across assigned legal contract tickets, delivering accurate, complete, and high-quality work within established team timelines while following established operating procedures. You serve as a clear, professional point of contact for internal teams and business partners, helping coordinate engagements and facilitating smooth handoffs throughout the contract lifecycle. You apply a solid understanding of product contract rules and partner resources to navigate standard redlines and client paper effectively. You know when to handle issues independently and when to escalate specialized, ambiguous, or high-risk matters to your manager or attorneys. A key focus of the role is maintaining accurate data and excellent ticket hygiene while identifying recurring bottlenecks to proactively suggest process and document improvements. Additionally, you leverage available tools and AI resources to streamline daily workflows, communicate clearly across diverse audiences, and balance multiple priorities with adaptability and a strong customer-service mindset.

Requirements

  • Requires a minimum of 5 years of related experience; or Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 2 years of related experience; or an advanced degree without experience Required
  • Demonstrates excellent institutional memory; ability to apply past precedents and context to new requests to ensure a unified legal approach.
  • Uses available resources, including AI tools, effectively and responsibly to streamline work, maintain consistency and improve efficiency, including the ability to review AI-generated outputs for accuracy and appropriateness.
  • Comfortable navigating various LLM interfaces (ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini) to manage high-volume, repetitive tasks; skilled in prompt engineering and content auditing to maintain high-quality outputs.
  • Possesses excellent attention to details and problem-solving skills.
  • Showcases excellent communication skills with an ability to be professional, clear, and adjust to different audiences
  • Ability to work both autonomously and collaboratively while handling sensitive and confidential information.
  • Ability to manage one’s own workload and prioritize appropriately when faced with ambiguity

Responsibilities

  • Review and resolve a range of complex requests, while taking ownership of complex projects and issues with appropriate judgement and limited oversight.
  • Conduct investigations, prepare summaries, and present findings and risk considerations to attorneys to support legal analysis and decision-making.
  • Drive collaborative problem-solving by proposing alternative solutions and exploring "yes, if" scenarios to pivot from standard "no."
  • Tailor communication styles for diverse audiences by translating complex leagalese into clear actionable guidance using structured formatting.
  • Operate with a high degree of autonomy, managing complex and ambiguous projects with minimal supervision.
  • Collaborate on the development and delivery of comprehensive compliance training programs and educational materials.
  • Proactively identify and implement improvements to legal workflows, documentation standards, and intake systems to increase team throughput.
  • Act as a subject matter expert (SME) for specific legal operations domains, providing guidance to business partners and mentoring peers.
