The Legal Analysis, Research and Writing Summer Internship is designed for law students who are seeking to gain legal writing and analysis experience during law school. Students will draft legal filings, including oppositions to motions to suppress or dismiss, motions for pre-trial detention based on dangerousness, motions in Limine, and objective intra-office memorandums. Students will also assist experienced prosecutors in trial preparation, strategy and presentation. Some interns who are assigned to the Appeals and Training Bureau will have the opportunity to submit briefs and argue before the Massachusetts Appeals Court. Students may complete the internship for school credit, if they are able to make an arrangement with their institution. Please note that this is an unpaid position.
