About The Position

Legal Administrative Assistant Huntsman is seeking a Legal Administrative Assistant in The Woodlands, Texas. This position will report to the Associate General Counsel – Litigation and Compliance. Job Scope The Legal Administrative Assistant will provide high level administrative support to the Associate General Counsel – Litigation and Compliance ensuring seamless coordination of legal activities in a fast-paced, confidential, and dynamic environment In summary, as the Legal Administrative Assistant, you will: Support travel, expense submissions, processing invoices, managing attorney schedules and other general administrative needs. Communicate / interact with clients, vendors, and associates at all levels. Create and modify documents such as PowerPoint presentations, Excel Spreadsheets, letters, reports, and other necessary documents. Monitor legal service of process and distribute to appropriate recipients Assist with legal matter management and ebilling system. Interface with the billing team and vendors. Maintain electronic case files. Manages the storage of company’s active and historic records. Other miscellaneous administrative needs for the litigation team. Maintain confidentiality in all aspects of customer, staff, and vendor information.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent required, Four-Year College Degree preferred
  • 3 + years' experience as an Administrative Assistant within a law firm or corporate legal department
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong computer skills especially in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Resourceful, flexible, and demonstrates critical thinking skills to meet the varying needs of the legal team.
  • Ability to organize, prioritize, and meet deadlines on time.
  • Initiative / Drive to complete assignments and improve processes
  • Independent thinker / problem solver.
  • Ability to manage multiple job duties and projects at once
  • Detailed and process oriented
