About The Position

Strauss Malk & Feder LLP is seeking an experienced Legal Administrative Assistant to join our firm. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated professional with two or more years of experience to play a pivotal role within a well-established law firm. This position provides administrative and legal support to attorneys across all practice groups, including Litigation, Trusts & Estates, Real Estate, Corporate, and Transactional matters. The ideal candidate will have experience in Litigation and Trusts & Estates, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. We are seeking a proactive, detail-oriented professional who enjoys client interaction and takes initiative to anticipate the needs of attorneys, staff, and clients.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience providing legal administrative support in a law firm setting.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Professional, proactive, and client-service oriented demeanor.

Responsibilities

  • Work with attorneys to prepare and finalize legal documents for client execution
  • Maintain and organize case files and client records in accordance with firm standards
  • Serve as one of the firm’s Notaries
  • Assist with court filings and help manage the firm’s litigation docket
  • Transcribe dictation and other materials as needed
  • Assist with maintaining and organizing the firm’s physical and electronic file vaults
  • Process monthly client billing statements
  • Answer incoming calls and greet clients and visitors, ensuring a professional and welcoming experience
  • Assist with ordering office supplies and maintaining daily office inventory
  • Provide general administrative and operational support to the firm as needed
