The Lee Teng Undergraduate Fellowship is a competitive, paid, 10-week summer program that provides a unique research experience in accelerator science and technology. It provides an integrated approach to accelerator science and technology, including exposure to the field beyond individual research projects. Students are assigned to mentored projects at Argonne and will receive guidance on preparing competitive applications to graduate school programs. At the end of the summer, they write a paper about their summer research and give a short presentation about their project. Students are assigned a physicist or engineer mentor at Argonne based on the best match of student skills with the research project. The Summer 2026 program will run from June 1st through August 7th.
