Lecturer - Department of Business Technology, Business School
About The Position
The University of Miami Business School is seeking a full-time Lecturer in the Department of Business Technology, starting in Fall 2027. The Lecturer will provide leadership for the School’s activities in artificial intelligence and emerging technologies. The Department is particularly interested in candidates able to teach technical courses—including artificial intelligence, machine learning, data analytics, and programming—with a high level of proficiency. Instructors must develop a new syllabus for each new course they teach. The Business School offers undergraduate business, full-time MBA, Executive MBA, MS, PhD, and non-degree executive education programs. The Department’s faculty also conduct research and have published in top-tier academic journals, including Management Science, Information Systems Research, and MIS Quarterly.
Requirements
- Terminal degree in Business Technology, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a closely related field from an accredited school or university.
- Demonstrated teaching experience and excellence in teaching.
- Ability to teach a variety of technical classes at a high level of proficiency.
Responsibilities
