About The Position

The Department of Architecture in the College of Design at Iowa State University (ISU) invites applications for the position of Lecturer in the area of Studio Design. This appointment is for 40% FTE and has an anticipated start date of August 16, 2026, for one academic semester, concluding on December 31, 2026. The candidate will be expected to teach studio courses at both undergraduate and graduate levels. Strong communication skills, a commitment to enhancing excellence, and the potential for long-term leadership in supporting the department, college, and university mission are desired. The department fosters a collegial, positive, and productive environment, and all faculty are expected to exhibit good citizenship, interact collegially, and maintain high standards of integrity and ethical behavior.
