The Business School at the University of Colorado Denver (CU Denver) is seeking a Lecturer in the One Year MBA Program. This is a part-time, temporary, non-tenure-track position. The selected Lecturer will lead the Applied Business Consulting elective, an elective course for students in their summer term. This course is designed to expose students who have completed AMBA 6330 (Consulting in Practice) to the full-scale process of scouting, scoping, and completing a real-world consulting project. Students will work individually to apply concepts from prior required courses to an experiential-learning opportunity and explore the new business development process. The course is scheduled from June 8th, 2026, to August 1st, 2026. Due to the experiential learning structure, there is no set meeting date or time; the lecturer is expected to schedule meetings with students and clients as needed. Student questions and Statement of Work (SOW) review may begin as early as May 2026, as pre-enrollment SOWs are due at least two weeks before the course start date. Duties include delivering tailored instruction in various teaching modes (in person, hybrid, remote, or online), preparing rigorous lesson plans, assessing student progress, and adhering to program policies by reporting student offenses.
