Metropolitan State University (MSU Denver) is seeking a full-time Lecturer for the Fire and Emergency Response Administration (FERA) program within the College of Health and Human Sciences. This 9-month contracted faculty position includes the potential for summer teaching and contract renewal. The role also serves as the Coordinator of the FERA Program, with dedicated release time for administrative duties. The coordinator is responsible for program development, strategic activities for long-term viability, maintaining and expanding partnerships, curriculum design and management, student success initiatives, and program marketing. This is an in-person position reporting to the Department Chair of the Human Services and Counseling Department. The successful candidate will adhere to teaching expectations outlined in departmental and college guidelines, as well as the MSU Denver Faculty Employment Handbook. The preferred start date is January 1, 2027, with flexibility for Fall 2027.
