About The Position

The Clinical Coordinator for Radiologic Technology provides academic, clinical, and administrative oversight to the clinical component to ensure the program's quality, effectiveness, and compliance with accreditation standards. This role oversees all clinical education aspects of the program, integrating clinical learning with didactic instruction, maintaining compliance with accreditation requirements, and ensuring student competency and safety. Eligibility to work in the U.S. is required at the time of hire. No pre-employment sponsorship is authorized for this position.

Requirements

  • Eligibility to work in the U.S. is required at the time of hire.
  • Minimum Qualifications for Lecturer: Bachelor’s degree
  • Proficient in curriculum design, evaluation, instruction, program administration, and academic advising
  • At least two years of clinical experience in the discipline
  • At least one year of experience as an instructor in a JRCERT-accredited program
  • Holds current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification and registration, or equivalent, in radiography
  • Minimum Qualifications for Assistant Professor: Terminal Degree such as PhD, EdD, DSci, DNP, etc.
  • Three years of clinical experience in the discipline
  • Two years of experience as an instructor in a JRCERT-accredited program
  • Ability to travel and work beyond normal office hours.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality.

Responsibilities

  • Correlate and coordinate clinical education with didactic education and evaluate its effectiveness
  • Participate in didactic and/or clinical instruction
  • Support the program director to ensure effective program operation
  • Participate in the accreditation and assessment process
  • Maintain current knowledge of the professional discipline and educational methodologies through continuing professional development
  • Maintain current knowledge of program policies, procedures, and student progress
