About The Position

This is a lecturer applicant pool for the Academic Year 2026-2027. Positions are part-time, temporary, non-tenure, and contingent upon course offerings, sufficient student enrollment, position clearance, and availability of funding. The lecturer must be available to teach courses during the day, evening, weekend, and/or via distance learning, as needed. The role involves teaching assigned courses in the appropriate discipline, preparing course schedules, syllabi, and reports related to teaching and student progress, and working under the supervision of the discipline chairperson. A minimum of one office hour per week for each course taught is required. A commitment to the principles of higher education and philosophy is essential. Possible evening, weekend, and off-campus assignments, and also distance learning assignments for courses taught via the Internet are part of the role. Other related tasks and/or duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Animal Science
  • Experience teaching college students in subject matter.

  • Demonstrated ability to work with and manage livestock or wildlife
