About The Position

As a Leasing Specialist, you’ll be the friendly face helping future residents find their next home. From giving great tours to closing leases and supporting marketing efforts, you’ll play a key role in keeping our community thriving.

Requirements

  • Sales and closing abilities, a cheerful attitude, and a focus on customer service
  • Proficiency in creating content, generating business interest, enhancing product awareness, and expanding market reach.
  • Competence in using software applications and search engines to engage residents and prospects.
  • A high school diploma is required
  • Monday to Friday, with occasional weekends as needed.
  • Valid Driver’s License, automobile insurance, and reliable transportation.

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with affordable housing programs is a plus.
  • some college coursework is advantageous.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain positive, professional, and effective communication with applicants, residents, vendors, clients, and guests.
  • Consistently and fairly enforce community rules and regulations.
  • Comply with all Fair Housing Laws.
  • Assist residents with reporting maintenance needs.
  • Maintain occupancy levels as established by owner/budget expectations.
  • Exhibit professional leasing techniques.
  • Assist with the completion of the monthly Market Surveys.
  • Assist with advertising and marketing strategies for the apartment community as needed
  • Follow up with phone and walk-in traffic.
  • Assist with ensuring that all online marketing sources are updated.
  • Promote positive resident/management relations, to retain desirable residents.
  • Assist with resident retention programs.
  • Maintain appropriate resident files including forms, leases, and documents.
  • Responsible for the integrity and confidentiality of resident files.
  • Ensure that documents and reporting systems are maintained, updated, and organized.
