About The Position
Join Our Team as a Leasing Specialist in Wausau, WI! At Gorman & Company, we're committed to making a difference through our affordable housing. We're looking for a personable and driven Leasing Specialist to support the lease-up of Westside Commons, a 56-unit Low Income Housing Tax Credit community in Wausau, WI. In this role, you'll help prospective residents navigate the leasing process while creating a positive and welcoming experience.
Requirements
- Previous leasing, sales, or customer service experience required.
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
Nice To Haves
- LIHTC experience is a plus!
- Experience with RealPage / OneSite property management software preferred.
- Experience with Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, etc) preferred.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the first point of contact for prospective and current residents, delivering exceptional customer service.
- Conduct community tours and guide prospects through the leasing and application process.
- Prepare leases, applications, and resident documentation in accordance with LIHTC housing requirements.
- Complete follow-up communication with prospects and support resident retention efforts.
- Provide administrative support including filing, record maintenance, and service request coordination.
- Assist with compliance interviews and coordinate documentation with the Compliance team.
- Support outreach marketing, resident communications, and move-in/move-out processes.
