As a Leasing & Sales Consultant, you’ll be the driving force behind occupancy and revenue at your community. This role goes beyond leasing apartments; it’s about selling a lifestyle and creating an experience that makes people proud to call Cortland “home.” You’ll combine proactive sales strategies with exceptional engagement to turn prospects into residents and keep your community thriving. This role involves driving occupancy and revenue by achieving and exceeding leasing goals, conversion targets, and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). It requires actively managing your sales pipeline—following up promptly, nurturing potential residents, and closing leases with confidence. You will use consultative selling techniques to uncover needs, present solutions, and create value that resonates with each potential resident. Keeping CRM records accurate and up to date for all potential resident interactions is crucial. You will monitor and report on lead activity, conversion metrics, and pipeline health, staying organized and disciplined to ensure timely follow-up and consistent engagement. Additionally, you will guide potential residents through the leasing process with confidence and care, making it a simple, stress-free, and enjoyable journey that reinforces our brand promise of better living. Delivering a concierge-level experience by anticipating needs, offering personalized solutions, and creating memorable interactions is key. Building lasting relationships that inspire loyalty and referrals through exceptional service is also a core function. You will represent the community as an ambassador, showcasing not just homes but a lifestyle of comfort, convenience, and premium living. Handling objections gracefully, turning challenges into opportunities, and establishing, managing, and maintaining marketing programs and social media presence to attract and retain residents are also part of the role. Planning and executing resident events and engagement programs that strengthen community ties is expected. Responding to coaching and feedback with agility and implementing best practices promptly, and adjusting your sales approach based on market conditions, prospect needs, and leadership guidance are also important. Maintaining integrity, accountability, and reliability in all aspects of performance, and maintaining a polished, approachable presence that reflects our premium brand standards in every interaction are essential.
